Known by different appellations - such as Father of Many Nations , Father of Faith , and Friend of God - Abraham is second only to Jesus Christ as the most admired biblical figure. After all, he is the only one in the bible (besides God himself) who did not hesitate to offer his own son as a sacrifice when God commanded him to. This movie recreates the early life of this great patriarch, his battle with Nimrod and his idols, his marriage to Sarah, the births of Ishmael and Isaac, and God s extreme demand for Isaac s blood as a mean to test Abraham s faith.
